Abimbola Amoako-Gyampah is a vocalist, vocal producer, songwriter and the director of Sessions By Ascension. 

Two occasions which SBA are now known for are being commissioned by the then Prince of Wales to curate and co-ordinate a gospel choir for the nuptials of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (formerly known as Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle) and then to be requested to put together The Ascension Choir to sing a specially commissioned classical piece for King Charles’ coronation.

The stunning results of her work were watched by over two billion households worldwide on both occasions and will forever be an amazing part of British history. This unique experience led to the creation of Sessions By Ascension - a creative service which marries excellent and highly knowledgeable organisation with elevated style.

She has been a soloist alongside world renowned operatic tenor Andrea Bocelli, recorded on albums and film soundtracks for the likes of Elton John and Jamie Cullum, undertaken international tours with Bastille and drum and bass legend High Contrast, performed on the stages of festivals such as Glastonbury both at home and abroad as well as supporting massive televised performances at The BAFTAs, The BRITS and The MTV Europe Awards. This is all while performing regularly with high profile acts such Dua Lipa, Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Duran Duran.
